A Russian ammunition depot is on fire in the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk Region.
This was reported by OSINT-researcher @GirkinGirkin on Twitter referencing local social media posts.
Eyewitnesses report explosions at a military depot set up by the Russian invasion forces in occupied Svatovo.
Russian propaganda media and occupier appointed “authorities” of the Luhansk Region made a preliminary claim that a Tochka-U missile hit the invaders’ ammunition warehouse.
Locals post images of a massive fire on social media and claim hearing sounds of explosions.
Another OSINT researcher @Osinttechnical published the location coordinates (49.394538, 38.178959) for the Russian invaders’ military facility, where ammunition is currently exploding.
It is reported that the missile strike was recorded today at about 00:20 at night.
The occupation of the Svativskyi district of the Luhansk Region began in early March this year. By the middle of the month Russian troops had captured it all.
Due to equipment damage, mobile communication of Ukrainian operators was disrupted in the area.
Another invaders’ ammunition depot explosion happened recently in Khrustalnyi town of the Luhansk Region.
The detonation intensity and the scale of the fire make it safe to assume the hit target was an ammunition depot.
Prior to 2016, the Ukrainian town of Khrustalnyi was called Krasnyi Luch. It has been under occupation since 2014.
