Dwarf Engineering Presents Narsil Drone Homing Module

The Ukrainian defense-tech company Dwarf Engineering has successfully tested the Narsil autonomous targeting module integrated into a 10-inch FPV drone.

The company reported this to Militarnyi based on the results of test flights as part of the IRON DEMO 2025 event.

During the demonstration, the team of pilots showed the operation of the drones in cruise mode, during which the guidance system completely took over the flight to the selected point and maintained the flight altitude, focusing only on the camera image.

After the cruise, the drones entered the refinement mode: the onboard homing system independently guided the drones to the point selected by the pilot.

The Dwarf Engineering team launched two 10-inch FPV drones that carried a 1 kg payload and hit a stationary and a moving target.

A drone from a partner company was used to hit the stationary target. At the same time, a “foreign” drone was used to attack a moving target, in which the homing system was installed the night before the demonstration, so it was not properly calibrated.

“The drone performed well during the demonstration, despite being uncalibrated and radio jamming, and confirmed the ease of integration of our system. On the second attempt, the drone hit the ground about 40 cm from the UGV wheel,” the developers shared.

According to the developers, the homing modules they have developed increase the effectiveness of missions, with confirmed hit statistics in 80%+ of cases. The system allows for work in conditions of signal loss.

Earlier, the company published footage on its social media of its homing system being used on moving and stationary targets on FPV copters.
