During a massive air and missile strike on the territory of Ukraine, Moldova recorded three air targets that crossed the country’s airspace.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Moldova.
“In connection with the morning airstrikes by the Russian aviation on several cities of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense reports that on Monday, October 10, between 8:33 and 9:02, specialized structures of the defense department identified three air targets that flew over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova,” the report said.
Also, these targets were confirmed by the relevant structures of the Ministry of Defense of Romania and Ukraine.
The corresponding objects moved in the following directions:
They emphasize that these air objects posed a danger to the infrastructure of Moldova, as well as to civilian aircraft that flew through the country’s airspace.
“The Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the responsible structures of the country, is closely monitoring the situation in the region and strongly condemns the attacks of the Russian army on the cities of Ukraine that lead to casualties,” the report said.
On the morning of October 10, the aggressor has already fired 83 missiles. 43 of them were neutralized by our air defense.
According to preliminary data, as of 11 AM, 11 important infrastructure facilities in 8 regions and Kyiv were damaged. Some areas are de-energized, there are problems with water supply and communication.
