Drones struck the base of the 132nd Separate Guards Motor Rifle Gorlovka Brigade of the Russian army in temporarily occupied Yenakiieve, the Donetsk region.
The Cyberboroshno community, whose OSINT researchers identified the location of the strike, reported on this.
According to preliminary reports, as a result of the nighttime attack on the city controlled by Russian forces, a building of School No. 28 was hit. The school has not been operational since 2008 and had been repurposed by the occupiers for their own needs following the occupation.
“Analyzing available media materials, we can confirm that there were multiple strikes at different locations – this is still being clarified. According to our information, since 2015 the 132nd Separate Guards Motor Rifle Gorlovka Brigade has been stationed there,” the OSINT team reported.
The drone attack on Russian occupation military facilities in Yenakiieve began late in the evening on August 14th.
Videos capturing the sounds of drones flying overhead, explosions, and subsequent fires quickly appeared on social media.
Locals wrote in public forums about a possible strike on key facilities of the Russian invasion army.
The massive drone raid continued after 10:00 p.m., according to eyewitnesses among local residents.
As previously reported, the city of Yenakiieve in the Donetsk region has been occupied by Russian forces since 2014. Facilities within the city are used by them in the war against Ukraine, including for troop deployment and logistics.
