On the night of April 27, kamikaze drones attacked the oil infrastructure and UMPK bomb kits depot at a military air base in the Krasnodar Krai.

The governor of the Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, confirmed information about the attack and said that drones attacked facilities in the Slaviansk, Seversky and Kushchevsky districts.

“According to information at this time, more than 10 drones have been jammed in the Slaviansk, Seversky and Kushchevsky districts. They tried to attack refineries and infrastructure. As reported from sites there are no injuries and serious damage. Emergency services extinguish fire due to the fall of UAVs,” said Kondratyev.

Despite the governor’s statements, local residents publish footage of explosions and fires, including fire at the Ilsky Oil Refinery.

The local authorities later confirmed that there were 9 attacks on the reservoir park and rectification column. Due to the built-up protection system, the reservoir park was not damaged, and the rectification column suffered damage.

“A UAV attack occurred on the territory of the plant in Slavyansk-na-Kubani. There were a total of 9 attacks on the reservoir park and rectification column. Thanks to the built protection system, the reservoir park was not damaged. The rectification column is damaged. The fire was liquidated by the joint efforts of the responsible services, there were no injuries,” the administration said.

In addition, information appeared that after the drone attack, a military air base in the village of Kushchevskaya had caught fire. A source of the ASTRA publication in local emergency services said that as a result of the attack, aircraft had been damaged.

Later, a video appeared, which was allegedly made at an airfield in the village of Kushchevskaya that shows burned UMPK bomb kits.

In total, according to local authorities, 66 drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai.

Drone attacks on the Russian infrastructure

Earlier, on April 20, it was reported that in Russia, strike drones had flown into the facilities of the fuel and energy complex in Kardymovo, Smolensk Region.

At the facility, ignition of the tank with fuels and lubricants was provoked.
