Drones Attacked the 100th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in the Kostroma Region of Russia

Drones attacked the 100th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Kostroma region.

The Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported the explosions and fire on the territory of the military facility.

The arsenal, known as military unit 55486, is located near the town of Neya.

In one of the videos posted on social media, local residents report evacuating.

At the same time, local authorities have not officially clarified anything on the matter.

Sergey Sitnikov, the governor of the region, in his post, only stated that “several facilities” in the Neya district were damaged as a result of “falling debris” from drones allegedly shot down by Russian air defense.

According to him, additional medical teams have been sent to the Neya district to provide assistance to victims, and air ambulances have been prepared to operate if necessary.

Eyewitnesses claim that they heard the sounds of explosions in the area of the 100th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) all night. It has been attacked before, in particular in May 2025.

It should be noted that the Russian Main Missile and Artillery Directorate maintains large ammunition stocks, which are then distributed to lower-level arsenals and warehouses as needed.

Therefore, such facilities are an important target for the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as their destruction seriously affects the capabilities of the Russian invasion army on the battlefield.
