Drones Attack Oil Refinery in Bryansk Region and Krasnodar Krai Overnight

Last night, drones targeted two oil refineries in the Bryansk region and Krasnodar Krai.

Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported the strike on the Transneft facility in Naytopovichi, Bryansk region, while the Astra publication covered the attack on the Ilysk Oil Refinery.

The 14th Special Operations Battalion and missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted fire damage to a facility in the Bryansk region.

The Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces published a video on his Telegram channel showing the moments of impact and explosions at the Transneft facilities.

It is unknown who exactly executed the latest strike on the Ilysk Oil Refinery.

“Debris fell on the territory of the Ilysk Oil Refinery in the northern area. As a result, one of the technological installations caught fire,” – Astra cites the official statement about the strike, with the fire allegedly occurring by accident.

The previous strike on the Ilysk Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, took place in July. According to Suspilne, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine carried out the operation.

“Fragments of the UAV were found near one of the factory’s workshops. Fortunately, no one was injured, and there was no damage. Emergency services are on the scene,” the Russian media project Kub Mash reported.

The Ilysk Oil Refinery is one of the largest private oil refining companies in the region, supplying fuel to the domestic market and exporting its products. It is located in the village of Ilyskaya, Seversky District, approximately 30 km from Krasnodar.

Drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have repeatedly attacked it. In particular, the previous strike took place in February this year. Unlike the July attack, the operation resulted in a large-scale fire of petroleum products.

The facility was also hit in 2023 and 2024. Each of these incidents was accompanied by a fire in the industrial area or fuel storage bunkers.
