A kamikaze drone attacked a helicopter on the territory of a military unit of the so-called “Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic” at the Tiraspol airfield.

It is reported that the drone’s flight to the military facility was recorded from the side of the road junction, which is locally known as the Kleverny Bridge.

The distance from the bridge to the landing site of the Transnistrian armed groups is about 6 kilometers.

According to the characteristic wreckage, the drone hit a helicopter that was equipped with unguided missiles.

Local Telegram channels report that the incident occurred at around 12:10 p.m.

A video capturing a helicopter being hit by a small drone that looks like an FPV was also released.

As a result of the direct hit, the helicopter was completely destroyed. It remains unknown whether the aircraft was airworthy.

No casualties have been reported as a result of the hit, and the relevant emergency services immediately arrived at the scene.

Criminal proceedings have been opened over the incident.
