The Ukrainian military in the Bakhmut direction defeated several Russian assault detachments.

One of the groups was defeated by the 45th Artillery Brigade.

Thirty five Russian mercenaries from the Soledar region tried to attack Ukrainian positions.

The brigade reported that twenty five Russian fighters were eliminated during the attack.

Artillery fire was adjusted with the help of a Mountain Infantry drone.

“Targeted artillery fire thwarted the enemy’s attack on the positions of our soldiers. Thank you for your “eyes” – the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade,” the military said.

Ukrainian artillery attacked a cluster of Russian forces in the area of Soledar.

The Ukrainian military with the call sign “Madyar” said that 15 liquidated Russian fighters were found in a broken trench.

This Russian position was located in the area of the Soledar Bridge, which passes over the Bakhmutovka River.

The 28th Mechanized Brigade also demonstrated its work in the Bakhmut direction.

A photo dated by December 24, 2022 with liquidated Russian mercenaries near the village of Kurdiumivka, near Bakhmut, was also released.

“28th Mechanized Brigade destroyed the assault group from the PMC Wagner 1st Assault Detachment near the dam near the village of Kurdyumovka. 15 liquidated,” the military said.
