Kyiv region has donated 45 off-road vehicles with special equipment for Mobile AA Teams.

The Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported on this.

“The regional military administration, together with districts, communities, and businesses, continues to increase the number of our Mobile AA Teams. The safety of Kyiv region residents and the protection of critical infrastructure are common tasks,” Kravchenko emphasized.

According to him, the military is already using the donated vehicles for combat missions.

Half of these SUVs are donated by the official importer of the BMW Group in Ukraine, AWT Bavaria. The company plans to donate another 20 vehicles in the near future.

In addition to the vehicles, the region also handed over to the defenders binoculars, Starlink terminals, generators, radios, thermal imagers, laser illumination, quick-release mounts for scopes, action cameras, smartphones, tablet PCs, and tents.

39 Mitsubishi L200 vehicles were purchased for Mobile AA Teams in the Mykolaiv region.

The vehicles were purchased by ATB-Market. In addition, Mykolaiv residents and other Ukrainians donated UAH 12 million to equip these vehicles to counter drones.

“To fulfill the task of the President’s Office, we are preparing groups to fight the Shahed drones. We are handing over 39 new Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks to the military to fulfill this task. We are grateful to ATB-Market for this incredible help,” said Vitaliy Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

He added that during the procurement process, many vendors made significant discounts and managed to save almost UAH 2.5 million.

These funds will soon be used to purchase FPV drones that will destroy the enemy in the southern direction.

The Ukrainian Air Force has previously said that military administrations on the ground should help reinforce Mobile AA Teams, which play an important role in destroying Russian loitering munition.
