As a result of a Special Operation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), the equipment of a Russian telecommunications operator in the temporarily occupied territory was destroyed. Also, railway equipment was damaged and a tank car was blown up.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (1, 2).

According to the DIU, four facilities with telecommunications equipment of the illegal Russian telecommunications operator Phoenix, which is used by the Russian invaders, were destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

In addition, cellular equipment was destroyed in the Leningrad region of Russia, as well as three railway relay cabinets for railway traffic control in the Yaroslavl Oblast of the aggressor state.

Also, on December 27, 2024, at 1 a.m., a freight train car was blown up at the railway station in Voskresensk of the Moscow region.

According to the video, a tank car was blown up, and the explosion caused a subsequent fire.

The agency notes that the scale of the damage caused by the aggressor is being established.

During the first two weeks of December 2024, a series of railroad sabotage took place in Russia: the railroad was blown up and 5 locomotives were burned.

In particular, on December 14, 2024, an explosion occurred on a railway bridge in the Russian regional center of Ulyanovsk, destroying the railroad track.

The day before, on December 13, 2024, an arson attack occurred in the city of Krasnodar, which disabled three railway locomotives. According to the agency, they were used by the aggressor’s army to provide its logistics.

And on December 5, 2024, a fire broke out at the railway depot in Bryansk, having burnt down two mainline diesel locomotives that met the logistics needs of the Russian occupation army.

“The process of mysterious destruction or disabling of facilities used by the aggressor state in the genocidal war against Ukraine does not stop,” the agency said.
