Schemy posted satellite images of the Savasleyka military air base in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which was hit by Ukrainian drones.
They were published on the Radio Svoboda page.
During a raid by a large group of attack drones on August 14, some of the weapons broke through the enemy’s air defense and hit military infrastructure.
According to the images, the main target of the strike was depots and fuel tankers on the airfield, around which traces of explosions were recorded. The depots were damaged, but no significant losses were caused.
Other images of the military air base from July 14 were also released by the well-known analyst MT Anderson. They also show traces of a hit by a Lutyi drone near the aircraft parking lot. It was its strike that was filmed by the Russian military.
The images did not show any damaged fighter jets or other aircraft. MT Anderson notes that after the strike, the Russians moved an Il-76 military transport aircraft.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Savasleyka military air base, located 600 kilometers from Ukraine, is the base for MiG-31K aircraft carrying Kinzhal missiles.
As of the day of the filming, eight aircraft of this type could be verified at the airbase, as well as several other types.
It is also worth noting that the Russians are actively using drawings of aircraft at their facility, which are supposed to mislead enemy satellite intelligence.
On the same day, more than 35 drones attacked facilities in the Voronezh region. The attack began around 10:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 13.
The city of Borisoglebsk, where the military air base of the same name is located, as well as the Baltimore military air base on the outskirts of Voronezh, came under attack.
Local Telegram channels also published footage of a fire caused by a drone crash in the Khokhol district near Voronezh, where three military air bases are located.
