The Ukrainian servicemen will receive military uniforms and winter clothing from Denmark.

The press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine reported about this.

On September 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark Jeppe Kofod.

He thanked the government and Prime Minister of Denmark for the political, financial and armed support of Ukraine during the war with the Russian Federation.

“We are grateful and highly appreciate this help. We perceive it as partnership and friendly, warm relations between our states,” the President noted.

Zelensky recalled Denmark’s supply of military uniform and winter clothing for Ukrainian defenders.

“I want to thank you for this support and such a prompt reaction,” the Head of State said.

The President emphasized how important Denmark’s support is for the sanctions policy on Russia for its brutal war of aggression against Ukraine.

As previously reported, Denmark will join the training team of the Ukrainian servicemen in Great Britain.

Denmark will participate in a British-led training project with 130 Danish soldiers, who will act as instructors in various areas of training.

Together with the training in Britain, Denmark will offer to train Ukrainian officers on its soil.

More than 20 countries took part in the Conference of Northern European Allies in Copenhagen to support Ukraine. More than EUR 1.5 billion had been raised for military aid to Ukraine.
