Four FP-2 attack drones with a warhead weighing more than 100 kilograms hit the location of the Russian Rubicon UAV unit in the Pokrovsk sector.

The video of the attack was published by the Cyberboroshno OSINT community.

According to the video, the drones were used to hit two separate locations. According to OSINT researchers, they are located in the town of Ukrainsk near Selydove, about 20 kilometers from the front line.

The FP-2 repeats the design of the FP-1 long-range drone, which is used to hit targets in the Russian rear. At the same time, it received a warhead that weighed up to 105 kilograms, which reduced its range from 1,400 to 200 kilometers.

The drone is available in versions with autonomous guidance, as well as in FPV configuration for precise targeting by the operator. Judging by the video, the second option was used for the strike.

The FP-2 was first publicly unveiled during Fire Point’s presentation at the MSPO exhibition in Kielce in early September 2025. However, according to the company, the drone has been used on the front line for some time.

In addition, according to the Cyberboroshno community, it was FP-2 attack drones that were used for a massive strike by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces on the base of the 810th Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of the Russian Marines in the Kursk region.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a material storage base and ammunition depots were hit, as well as a place of covert deployment of weapons and military equipment of the 810th Brigade.

In the released video, a reconnaissance drone that monitored the damage recorded 19 drone strikes on nine separate buildings.

Rubicon

The infamous Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies was formed in August 2024 by order of Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov. The key task of the unit is to train highly qualified instructors in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, transfer experience to personnel of existing formations and military units, and train UAV operators.

In addition, Rubicon develops and tests robotic systems and trains specialists to operate such equipment. The Center’s analytical department summarizes information on the use of various drones in the combat zone, analyzes video surveillance data from the front line, and develops proposals for the most effective use of UAVs.

In addition to training, analytical, and research units, the Center also has combat units that are assigned to certain priority areas of the frontline and use the developments created by other units. Therefore, some groups of the Rubicon Center can be found in virtually all frontline areas.
