The Czech Czechoslovak Group has opened a new ammunition manufacturing facility in the United States.

The subsidiary MSM Group North America, Inc. has become a new branch of the Czech company in the United States, and its headquarters will be located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The newly formed division specializes in maintaining, repairing, and producing medium- and large-caliber ammunition. The company aims to become one of the key supply chains for the United States Armed Forces and gain a foothold in this sector.

“The establishment of MSM Group North America, Inc. is CSG’s next step in supporting the stability and growth of the US defense and industrial sector,” Michal Strnad, owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czechoslovak Group, stated.

Today, the US market is becoming increasingly accessible to foreign companies due to the difficult financial situation of local enterprises, which opens up new opportunities for European companies.

“With the recent acquisition of The Kinetic Group, we continue to increase our presence in the United States and support its national security interests,” Strnad added.

In addition to the United States, MSM Group’s companies are currently present in Slovakia, Serbia, Germany, and Spain, where they have already taken an important place in the ammunition supply chain for these countries.

Group companies are also actively producing shells for Ukraine, and the Czechoslovak Group has recently signed several important documents on cooperation with the Ukrainian Armor. One agreement relates to the supply of components, and the other to the licensing of ammunition production (transfer of technology and documentation for manufacturing artillery rounds).

Part of the ammunition is expected to be produced in Ukraine, and the other part in the Czech Republic. Such cooperation will allow the companies to increase ammunition production and reduce the cost of a finished round.

In particular, this includes the production of HE M107 155mm high-explosive projectiles, as well as HE ER-BV VMK/MKM 155mm (43 km range with Base Bleed warhead) and 155 mm HE ER-BT VMK/MKM (37 km range with Boat Tail warhead).

In addition, it is planned to produce other artillery rounds, as well as NATO-caliber tank rounds.
