Oleksiy Neyizhpapa has been in command of the Ukrainian Naval Forces since June 11, 2020.

Previously, in early March, Volodymyr Zelenskyi had assigned the title of General to Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

At the same time, the rank of the Brigadier General was assigned by the President to Colonel Volodymyr Shvorak, who serves as a Deputy Commander of the Operational Command “East” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Military rank of Brigadier General of Justice was awarded to the Colonel of Justice Serhiy Melnyk, Head of the Military Law Institute of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University.

The rank of Brigadier General was assigned to Colonel Artem Bohomolov, Deputy Commander of the forces of the Operational Command “West.”
