The foundation gave the 56th Motorized Brigade Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks.
The Mariupol Brigade voiced that the Come Back Alive Foundation handed over brand new vehicles.
“The vehicles of this war are broken but sometimes unexpectedly the new ones found abroad, bought with donations from caring Ukrainians,” the military said.
The military noted that these vehicles are always needed and desired. A number of units will be provided with vehicles.
“Thanks to the Come Back Alive Foundation, today our brigade`s detachments have received new powerful vehicles,” the Brigade said.
The Brigade said that the pickups will receive protective camouflage and will evacuate the wounded, transfer intelligence detachments and transport weapons.
“Here they are lined up – while they are still quite civil, sparkling with chrome bars. And tomorrow they will “put” on protective camouflage and be carried along broken front paths,” the military said.
According to the published photos, a motorized infantry team received at least 9 Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks.
The military received fifth-generation Mitsubishi L200 pickups. The vehicle went on sale in 2015. In 2018, the model was updated, completely changing the appearance and equipment.
Recall that in September it became known that the Foundation acquired 104 new Pegeout Landtrek and Mitsubishi L200 pickups for the Armed Forces.
The total cost of purchased SUVs is 96,299,242 UAH or 2.6 million euros.
Vehicles began to be distributed to various units of the Armed Forces. In particular, in October, the Army Aviation brigades of the Ukrainian Ground Forces received pickup trucks.
