The Come Back Alive Foundation transferred 884 Fort-600 stand-alone grenade launcher to the Ukrainian military.

The Foundation’s press service reported on this.

They also published a photo of the transfer of these weapons to the defenders.

The cost of these hand grenade launchers is almost UAH 31 million.

The Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized that this batch of weapons will fully meet the needs of all brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Territorial Defense Force, as well as several Marine brigades currently fighting in the southern direction.

The cost of the entire batch of 40-mm single-shot Fort-600 grenade launchers is UAH 30,927,624.

More than UAH 20.5 million of this amount was raised last September as part of a charity “election” for candidate Mykhailo Lebihovych – “For Lebihovych!”

The Come Back Alive Foundation allocated more than UAH 10 million from its general accounts.

Last fall, Militarnyi reported that the soldiers of the 80th Air Assault Brigade received 300 Fort-600A grenade launchers. At that time, they were sent to the soldiers in the Bakhmut sector.

Fort-600 (A) stand-alone grenade launcher is designed to fire 40mm high-explosive fragmentation, high-explosive, HEAT, or other combat grenades. Weapons are used to defeat the enemy’s manpower and armor vehicles.

Also, Fort-600 can shoot non-lethal grenades, including gas, stun grenades, etc.

Prior to the Russian full-scale invasion, the grenade launcher was part of the range of weapons that could be produced at the Fort State Research and Production Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
