The Come Back Alive Foundation and VIDI Group are raising UAH 15 million for UAV command posts for the Marine Corps.

The Foundation’s press service reported on this.

The Come Back Alive Foundation is launching the Intelligence Drive project. Its aim is to raise UAH 15 million for 5 command and control posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.

The mobile command and control posts are to be put into service with unmanned systems units of the Ukrainian Marine Corps brigades.

These are specially equipped minibusses with workplaces for pilots, designed by the Foundation’s specialists with due regard to the experience and wishes of the military.

“The vehicles will be equipped with monitors, power supplies, and heating and air conditioning systems for the UAV crews to work comfortably in any weather. This will increase their efficiency,” Maksym Zinchuk, coordinator of the Come Back Alive executive office and project manager, shared.

The vehicles will increase mobility, safety, and convenience for crews searching for enemy targets and adjusting fire on them. They will be suitable for use with any reconnaissance UAV, including Shark, Leleka-100, Furia, Valkyrie, FlyEye, ACS-3, etc.

Command posts will allow for quick movement between different parts of the frontline for their reinforcement. The choice of locations from which the military can operate will also be expanded.

At the beginning of February, the Come Back Alive Foundation transferred the PD-2 reconnaissance system to the Ukrainian Marines.

“The drone was received by the soldiers of the reconnaissance unit of the marines, who work on the left bank of the Dnipro River,” the Foundation reported.

The Foundation noted that the PD-2 was one of the best Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems at the operational and tactical level in its niche.

With a flight range of more than 200 kilometers and the ability to operate in the air for up to 12 hours, the system has proven to be one of the most effective for detecting and tracking enemy targets for HIMARS and other long-range weapons systems.
