The Come Back Alive Foundation has implemented a secret project for the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
A mobile intelligence station was purchased with donated funds.
The press service of the foundation made a corresponding statement on its social networks.
The total value of this project exceeds 41,000,000 hryvnias.
“We have invested these funds in the mobile intelligence station — a unique technical system that will help special forces quickly identify the enemy and obtain even more information about him,” the Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized.
The statement was supported by a video of the handover of the components of the system, during which the head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, thanked the Come Back Alive Foundation and benefactors who engaged in the organization’s activities and transferred their funds to enhance the Ukrainian Defense Forces resisting the Russian invasion.
The fund notes that this project, which is not easy to implement, was kept a secret for about a year for security reasons. Thus, instead of publicly accumulating funds for the project, the equipment for intelligence was purchased from the general accounts of the charitable organization.
The Come Back Alive Foundation emphasizes that this secret purchase of equipment for a mobile intelligence station is only one of tens of thousands of results of the work of the Foundation.
This is not the only joint project of the Come Back Alive Foundation with the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In particular, in the summer of last year, Come Back Alive handed over the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial system to the Defence Intelligence at a total cost of $16,502,450. These are three strike drones, air communication systems and a mobile ground control system.
Also, the “Black box” project was implemented, in the framework of which the equipment capable of reducing the offensive potential of Russia was purchased and transferred to the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, but the details of the joint project are not disclosed.
In April 2023, the Come Back Alive Foundation acquired 1,460 7.62mm machine guns for the Ukrainian military.
