The Come Back Alive Foundation together with the Ukrainian IT company N-iX have started raising money for rangefinders for 25 sniper groups.
The press service of the foundation reported about this on its social networks.
The project is raising UAH 11,300,000.
The foundation will use the money to buy 50 rangefinders. This will cover the need for 100 highly skilled Ukrainian snipers at once.
The rangefinders will be given to sniper groups from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and the SSU’s Special Group “A”.
Come Back Alive Foundation said that in support of this project, on December 17, Zhenia Yanovych’s YouTube channel will host a charity stream “IT is DONATION NATION”.
Representatives of charitable foundations and businesses, volunteers, bloggers and comedians will gather in one studio to talk about how it is important to maintain unity and work for the benefit of Ukraine.
As previously reported, in November, the Come Back Alive Foundation launched the Pure Anger project, within the framework of which it plans to train and equip 25 long-range sniper groups.
Within the project, the Foundation plans to raise UAH 220,000,000 to reinforce 100 snipers for effective reconnaissance and long-range target engagement.
The Foundation’s sniping instructors considered almost 10 years of experience in the Russian-Ukrainian war and, specifically for the project, developed a set of equipment, including long-range ammunition and a rifle.
Sniper rifles in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine can effectively hit up to 1,200 meters. The system offered by the Foundation can reach over 2,000 meters.
The Ukrainian military will receive Cadex CDX-40 SHDW chambered in 375 CheyTac. The rifles will be equipped with Schmidt & Bender sights and an Andres-Industries thermal clip-on and aiming devices.
