Come Back Alive Foundation Delivers Heavy Weapons to 125th Heavy Mechanized Brigade
News

Come Back Alive Foundation has delivered hand-held grenade launchers, mortars and vehicles to the brigade defending Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia.

This was reported by the charity’s press service.

The Foundation has transferred a batch of 70 ATGL-L hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers (a Bulgarian copy of the RPG-7) and 14 120 mm mortars to the 125th Heavy Mechanized Brigade, which was recently part of the Territorial Defense Forces.

The brigade also received three Fiat SUVs from the Foundation to meet its logistical needs.

The total cost of the collective weapons and pickup trucks amounted to UAH 32,368,946, of which UAH 31.5 million was raised by the 125th Brigade Support Center.

The mortars and pickup trucks were delivered to the 125th Brigade back in May. And in July, the military’s request for hand grenade launchers was closed.

The 125th Brigade is fighting in the hottest spots of the frontline, having defended Bakhmut and Lyman as a territorial defense brigade and helped liberate Ozerne, Yampil, Dibrova and Torske.

In June, the Foundation provided artillery and unmanned units of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade with 10 82 mm mortars, 400 FPV drones of various types, Matrice and Mavic quadcopters, as well as equipment for the military, electronic warfare, night vision devices and more.

In July, 14 pickup trucks, 5 trucks and electronic warfare equipment were delivered to the 39th Coastal Defense Brigade.

In general, volunteers are increasing their cooperation with Ukrainian domestic companies, having announced their intention to sign six new contracts in the spring, mostly with Ukrainian manufacturers.

This summer’s largest project of the Foundation was the creation of mobile pre-flight training complexes for F-16 fighters, which allowed for the necessary activities with the aircraft and aviation weapons in the field.

The project, worth UAH 51.3 million, allowed the first samples of the complexes to be transferred to the Air Command Center, which is already supporting the activities of Western fighters.
