The Ukrainian Air Force received mobile command posts to strengthen air defense.
They were donated by the Come Back Alive Foundation to the military thanks to a UAH 39 million contribution from Naftogaz.
As a result, the Air Command “East” of the Ukrainian Air Force will be provided with six improved versions of the integrated mobile command posts.
These systems will be provided to units covering the skies of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and parts of Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Poltava, and Sumy regions.
Mobile command posts were developed by Ukrainian engineers on the assignment of the Come Back Alive Foundation in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces. The development considered the experience gained by the Ukrainian military in the fight against the Russian invaders.
“These are complex mobile command posts that are created on the basis of all-wheel drive vehicles and accompany anti-aircraft missile systems, coordinate the work of air defense units, and ensure uninterrupted and secure communication between them,” the Foundation reported.
It is noted that such solutions will help close the Ukrainian sky and significantly enhance the effectiveness of air defense.
The equipment helps the defenders of the sky stay in touch and respond even faster to enemy air attacks.
In January of this year, the Air Command Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also received complex hardware communication equipment from the Come Back Alive Foundation as part of a joint project with Nova Poshta called Pack the Sky – Upgrade Air Defense.
Last October, the Come Back Alive Foundation transferred the first specially designed telecommunications kits to mobile air defense fire teams.
They help the Ukrainian military shoot down enemy missiles and drones.
The telecommunication kits are backpack-sized autonomous hubs with all the secure communications equipment needed by air defense soldiers.
