The Come Back Alive Foundation has acquired light machine guns for the Ukrainian military.
This was reported by the press service of the Fund.
Thanks to this purchase, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 1,460 7.62mm machine guns.
The cost of infantry weapons, which the charitable foundation independently acquired for Ukrainian defenders who oppose the Russian invasion, is 6,570,000 euros.
This batch of weapons, which the Come Back Alive Foundation contracted abroad for the first time in the history of the organization, was distributed by the Commander-in-Chief and the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the most critical areas.
The new 7.62mm light machine guns were received by the 21st combat brigade, of which:

The Army Relief Fund stressed that machine guns were already working on the front lines.
At the end of March, the Come Back Alive Fund collected 333 million hryvnias for systems with mortars for TDF. The Fund completed fundraising for the “Long Hands of the TDF” project for the purchase of six 120mm mortars and auxiliary equipment for all territorial defense brigades.
It regarded the total of 186 120mm mortars and 93 off-road vehicles needed for the functioning of such mortar teams. Fundraising was organized separately for each region, one kit costing over 10 million hryvnias.
Recently, the foundation has handed over all the necessary equipment for the formation of reconnaissance and strike groups in three territorial defense brigades.
Three mortar batteries of the 112th, 114th and 241st TDF brigades received cars, radio and power supplies units, aerial drones and tablets worth 13,284,750.50 UAH.
