Canada will be handing over eight new armored vehicles manufactured by Roshel to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Anita Anand, Canadian Defense Minister shared on her Twitter account that Canada has finalized a contract to purchase the armored vehicles that would be delivered to Ukraine.
The official added that Canada would be delivering this equipment to Ukraine as quickly as possible.

“Canada has finalized a contract for eight armored vehicles manufactured by Roshel, and we will supply them to our Ukrainian friends as quickly as possible,” Minister Anita Anand wrote.
The official also added that Canada “will continue to provide Ukraine with comprehensive military aid.”
Previously, the Government of Canada announced a $500 million military aid to Ukraine.
The aid package included military equipment and armored vehicles. At the time, the media speculated that it would be Senator armored vehicles manufactured by the Canadian company Roshel.
Senator APC is an armored personnel carrier designed for law enforcement units and border patrols. Senator armored personnel carrier can withstand projectiles of up to 50 mm caliber, has an explosion-proof carcase, as well as a system of protection against chemical and biological attacks.
Canada will be handing over the M777 howitzers and ammunition to Ukraine, including the newest Excalibur extended-range GPS-guided shells.
