Canada handed over special mine clearance vehicles to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The Canadian Embassy in Ukraine reported about this on the official Facebook page.
In total, 10 special vehicles for the disposal of explosive ordnance were transferred.
The vehicles are equipped with a crane for carrying out the relevant work.
The crane provides loading and transportation of equipment and materials necessary for rescuers to carry out the relevant demining operations.
All the equipment is mounted on the Czech universal chassis platform Torsus Terrastorm, which is capable of overcoming difficult off-road conditions thanks to all-wheel drive.
The truck uses the base of the Volkswagen Crafter minibus. Since it was originally an open platform, any other equipment can be mounted on it.
The Torsus Terrastorm is available with a wheelbase of 3640 and 4490 mm and a payload of 3.5, 5 and 5.5 tons, respectively.
As Militarnyi previously reported, a special mobile diving complex has been constructed in Ukraine and handed over to the State Emergency Service (SESU).
Specialists of Spets-Com-Service took up the production of special transport, creating a rather unique mobile complex.
The special mobile diving complex in Ukraine stands out due to its wide array of specialized equipment used by divers.
The designers used the German MAN TGS 33.400 (6×6) truck as a base for the equipment, placing a special module in the back of the van.
