A video from social media shows the launch of 16 rockets from a fully-loaded self-propelled launcher.

The rocket launcher is capable of releasing a full volley of 220 mm missiles in a few seconds.

Early last month, a video of this artillery system being carried on the Tatra chassis in the field was published on social media, but it didn’t show the system in action.

Later, another video showed Ukrainian rocket artillery units striking enemy positions at night with the retrofitted Burevij MLRS.

Burevij MLRS is a Ukrainian modernization of the “Uragan” rocket launcher system. Its arsenal includes all available 220 mm BM-27 MLRS ammunition nomenclature.

The system’s wheeled self-propelled launcher is equipped with a digital fire control system, including a system of battlefield data exchange.

State Enterprise “Shepetivka Repair Plant” received a batch of Tatra chassis for the Burevij MLRS in December 2021.

The Tatra T815-7 chassis with the 8×8 wheel formula are designed for the production of the new Ukrainian 220-mm Burevij rocket launcher system. These chassis were modified in accordance with the requirements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In November 2020, the state-owned enterprise Shepetivka Repair Plant presented the “Uragan” MLRS on the Tatra chassis.
