The Bundestag has approved the military aid budget for Ukraine for 2024.
The approved budget amounts to almost €7.6 billion, as reported by Ukrinform news agency.
The military aid budget was approved within Germany’s annual budget, which could reach €476.81 billion in 2024.
On January 17, Militarnyi reported that in 2024, Germany will provide Ukraine with military goods worth more than €7 billion.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made this statement during a telephone conversation with U.S. President Joseph Biden.

The new package includes ammunition, missiles for air defense systems, and the Skynex short-range air defense system.

In December last year it was reported that Germany will provide Ukraine with more Marder infantry fighting vehicles than previously reported.
According to the updated list of aid from the German government, the country has financed or even transferred 120 Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.
40 infantry fighting vehicles of 120 had been purchased from the Hellenic Armed Forces and handed over to Rheinmetall for repair and modernization.
