The Bryansk region of Russia was attacked by unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on this.
The attack took place in the afternoon, around 12:00 p.m. Moscow time. The Russians reported that the drones were allegedly destroyed by air defense units.
At the same time, residents of Bryansk published a video showing an entire drone diving and crashing within the city.
Local Telegram channels report that the debris fell in the Sovetsky district of the city. Central streets were blocked due to the incident.
Russians claim that Bryansk was attacked by three drones.
Militarnyi reported that on the night of August 30, Russia faced the largest drone attack ever.
Numerous targets in the Moscow, Tula, Pskov, Bryansk regions and Sevastopol city were attacked by drones.
In Bryansk, at around 01:00 a.m. on August 30, at least six drones attacked a number of targets. Some of the drones were shot down by air defense systems.
One of the drones hit a facility on the territory of the Kremniy EL plant and damaged it.
This plant is Russia’s largest microelectronics manufacturer and manufactures products for the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In addition, according to local reports, the building of the local Investigative Committee was damaged.
