Great Britain has announced the preparation of the military aid package for the Ukrainian military for the winter period.

The new package was announced by the Minister of Defense of Great Britain, Ben Wallace, during his speech in the House of Commons.

Support for Ukraine remains one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Defense of Britain.

“Since winter is approaching, we are developing a package to support Ukraine at this time of the year, which will include, in particular, 25,000 sets of winter uniforms. So they will be more effective on the battlefield than their ill-prepared, ill-prepared and ill-armed Russian counterparts,” Wallace said.

During the report, the head of the British Ministry of Defense added that London will continue to provide Ukraine with missiles for air defense systems “in light of ongoing and indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure.”

The minister noted that he is proud that Britain is the second largest donor of military aid to Ukraine.

“Last week I announced that Britain would provide Ukraine with additional missiles for air defense systems to protect against Russian strikes. We continue to supply advanced electronic warfare equipment that provides an additional layer of protection against long-range drones and missiles,” he said.

Wallace briefed the House of Commons on his surprise visit to Washington and also reported on the September 29 incident in which a Russian fighter jet fired a missile at a British aircraft patrolling international airspace over the Black Sea.

As previously reported, Lithuania, Germany and Denmark announced the transfer of winter uniforms to the Ukrainian servicemen.

In addition, Ukraine sent a request for assistance with winter supplies to NATO member states.

In particular, equipment has already been promised by the USA, Canada, Sweden and Finland. This regards providing 200,000 soldiers.
