The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized using the BoarTAC universal unmanned multipurpose forward-looking transporter for domestic production.

The Ministry’s press service reported on this.

The transporter’s design considers the requirements formed by the Ukrainian military’s combat experience.

It is reported that the ground robotic system has a low silhouette, is low-noise and invisible, and is protected from bullets and debris.

“In addition, the device is easy to operate and maintain in the field. In terms of driving characteristics, it has high cross-country ability and traction,” the Ministry of Defense noted.

An operator can remotely operate the BoarTAC multi-purpose vehicle to deliver ammunition and supplies.

This multifunctional platform, with special mounts installed, is also capable of evacuating the wounded. In addition, it can be used to carry out mine clearance with attachments or, vice versa, to set up minefields.

The Defense Ministry emphasized that the BoarTAC ground robotic system can also become a mobile firearm, as it is possible to integrate remotely controlled combat modules equipped with grenade launchers or machine guns. It is also stated that the domestic transporter can be used as a kamikaze drone.

“Due to its wide tracks with large tracks and a protective bumper, the robot can overcome off-road terrain, ditches, and shallow water obstacles,” the statement reads.

At the same time, the Ukrainian-made transporter can carry about 200 kg of cargo or pull a trailer of similar weight.

In early August, the Ministry of Defense also codified and authorized using the Dzhura armored vehicle for tactical missions in the Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian company RPO Practika developed the armored vehicle based on the Land Cruiser 70 SUV chassis. It is designed to perform tactical tasks. It is characterized by its relatively low weight and small dimensions, which allow it to operate as stealthily as possible.
