Russians started using Desertcross-1000-3 all-terrain vehicles in the fall of last year.

The Chinese company Shandong Odes Industry is producing the vehicles for Russia.

Desertcross 1000-3 all-terrain vehicles are equipped with a 72-horsepower gasoline engine, and the fuel tank capacity is 50 liters.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that in 2023, more than 530 such vehicles were transferred to the troops. A contract was also being prepared to purchase about 1,600 more vehicles. In particular, 500 were supposed to be delivered in December, and the rest in the first quarter of 2024.
