In Berlin, a group of protesters blocked the entrance to a Rheinmetall weapons facility in the Gesundbrunnen district to oppose arms exports.
According to Die Zeit, seven activists glued themselves to the road in front of the factory gates, completely halting vehicle access. Police quickly arrived and began removing them from the asphalt.
Law enforcement authorities have opened proceedings against the seven individuals, accusing them of trespassing, coercion, and resisting police.
Through their actions, the activists aim to stop the supply of German weapons to Israel amid the war in the Gaza Strip. A few weeks earlier, they staged a similar protest at the same facility.
At that time, the demonstrators climbed onto the roof of a Rheinmetall building with pro-Palestinian banners and splashed paint on the facade. Police deployed special forces and high-angle rescue teams to bring them down safely.
Militarnyi previously reported that a man climbed onto the wing of a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft on a remote taxiway at Shannon International Airport in western Ireland and damaged it with an axe.
