As previously reported, Rostislav Smirnov, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, considers it extremely unlikely that Belarus will join the war started by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
“Belarus entering the war is simply incredibly unlikely. But we do keep troops there because we cannot completely dismiss that factor… Of course, we have a line of defense there. But if we take into account many factors – troops, weapons, etc. – then there are absolutely no risks of entry from the side of Belarus,” said the Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
