The drone operators and tankmens of the 12th Special Operations Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine repulsed another attack by Russian troops in the Toretsk direction.

The video was released by the brigade’s press service.

It is reported that the enemy had engaged several units of armored vehicles in the attack. Judging by the footage, these were BMP-2 and MT-LB.

It is worth noting that at the stern of two infantry fighting vehicles there were rather large white objects, which are probably means of electronic countermeasures, similar smaller objects were placed on anti-drone “grills”.

The Russian infantry that had survived the armored assault tried to gain a foothold in the buildings under the attack of Ukrainian drones.

The tankers of the 12th Brigade also contributed to the destruction of the occupiers, bringing their combat vehicles to the building and shooting the Russian infantry at close range.

“The enemy does not stop trying to advance in the Toretsk direction. The Azovs are doing everything possible to deter the enemy and destroy as many targets as possible,” the brigade emphasizes.

Earlier, on December 22, Militarnyi reported that as a result of unsuccessful assaults on Azov’s positions, the enemy had lost 5 armored vehicles, 8 vehicles, 3 electric scooters and 63 infantrymen.

Over the past few months, during massive assaults in the Toretsk direction, the enemy has lost a significant amount of armored vehicles.

That is why the Russians resort to the massive use of cars, buggies, ATVs, and even electric scooters.

The main means of defeating Russian assault groups are FPV drones, drones with munitions, artillery, including cluster munitions, and remote mining.
