The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade neutralized a couple of dozen invaders in the Bakhmut area.

Soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, which was previously known as the Azov Special Operations Forces and the 98th battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces, showcased combat work.

It is reported that mortar crews of the 1st Mechanized Battalion successfully hit the enemy’s manpower.

The mortar crews were also assisted by the artillery division “Command Postril”, which is also part of this brigade.

“The contract is over. And how many dead soldiers of Wagner PMC did you count?”, the military wrote in the comments to the video.

After the liquidation of the manpower, the Ukrainian drone began to scout the battlefield and with its help, at least 17 bodies were counted.

The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade also showcased the combat work of its scouts from the 1st Mechanized Battalion.

The military showcased the bodies of the eliminated invaders in the Bakhmut direction.

On February 26, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that Russian troops were losing 500 soldiers every day.

“They follow crazy tactics: they send waves of soldiers of the Wagner PMC or former prisoners against us to win back a few meters of land. For example, in Bakhmut. Twenty of them attack our positions, and we kill them. After a while, twenty more arrive, and twenty more, in a continuous cycle. Our general on the eastern front said that the Russians had 500 killed and 900 wounded in a day,” the Minister said.

As previously reported, the Azov Special Operations Forces and the 98th battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces officially joined the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and became the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

This unit was created in February 2022 in Kyiv by veterans of the Azov Regiment as a volunteer unit of territorial defense. Later, it joined the Special Operations Forces unit. Soldiers of this unit took part in battles in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. Now the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade is participating in the defense of Bakhmut.
