In temporarily occupied Crimea, as a result of a missile-drone strike on the night of September 21, air defense facilities and military infrastructure of the Russians were struck.
Astra reported on this, citing sources in emergency services.
According to their information, two strike drones hit a convoy of the mobile unit of the 31st Air Defense Division in the vicinity of the village of Volochaivka in the Razdolnensky district, destroying a radar of an unspecified model.
Another drone exploded and damaged a Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and missile system in the area of the village of Donskoye in the Simferopol district.
It is reported that one serviceman of the Russian army was injured.
In addition, it is reported that as a result of two strikes, likely carried out by Neptune cruise missiles, buildings of the barracks, a club, a training facility, and a dining hall at the position of the 31st Division near the village of Vitino in the Saky district were damaged.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have allegedly shot down 12 UAVs over occupied Crimea and another 4 over the Black Sea during the night of September 21.
One of the important tasks of Ukrainian defenders is to blind the air defense of Russian invaders on the peninsula before launching missiles and strike drones at their important targets.
Such operations are carried out by units of various structures that are part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, on the night of September 10, jet-powered drones struck the buildings of the headquarters and the communications center on the grounds of the facility (military unit 81415), after which a reconnaissance drone recorded the results of the strike.
A few days earlier, drone operators from the Active Operations Department of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine struck Russian Podlet and Nebo-M radars in occupied Crimea.
And the day before, strike drones of the Ghosts (Prymary) unit from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) targeted and hit two Russian Be-12 amphibious aircraft and one Mi-8 helicopter on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
