Armenian company Davaro has demonstrated new unmanned aerial vehicles that visually resemble Israeli Harop loitering munitions.
The presentation took place against the backdrop of publications in international media questioning the origin of the company’s technological solutions and was published on the official pages of Davaro.
Davaro officially denied allegations of using third-party developments, stating that it has its own engineering base and local technologies.
The company emphasized that the similarity of design schemes is typical for modern aviation systems.
According to the materials presented, the line includes several modifications of loitering UAVs.
The DragonFly 3 version is equipped with an internal combustion engine, which provides a longer flight duration.
The DragonFly 3.1 modification uses an electric power plant designed to reduce noise and thermal signature.
Both systems have a distinctive aerodynamic configuration with a pusher propeller and X-shaped tail.
Davaro says it’s running ongoing programs to upgrade and expand production.
The company positions its developments as a way to boost the technological independence of Armenia’s defense sector.
Previously, open sources repeatedly reported attempts by various manufacturers to create systems conceptually similar to Harop, which became a separate segment of the loitering munitions market.
Recently, Armenia developed the GBL guided munition.
