Near the village of Maiorsk, the Ukrainian military conducted a successful assault operation against the Russian invaders.

Soldiers of the 24th Mechanized Brigade showcased footage featuring combat work.

The Ukrainian unit ‘Division Group’ provided constant support with drones that monitored the enemy’s actions and dropped explosive devices on invaders.

The video shows a successful attack by a Ukrainian assault unit on Russian positions in a forest.

The Russians sent manpower and an infantry fighting vehicle to help their military, which was also hit.

“As a result of the successfully completed combat mission, 30 enemy personnel were neutralized,” the military said.

During the battle, the Ukrainian military discovered the enemy’s evacuation route and the location of their reserves, and took them under fire control.

The battle took place in the village of Maiorsk, which is located in the Donetsk region.

At the end of February, the soldiers of the 24th Mechanized Brigade were awarded for the successful completion of tasks.

“The commander of the 24th Mechanized Brigade, colonel Ivan Holishevsky presented the soldiers with state awards, brigade decorations, valuable gifts and thanked them for their conscientious service and personal courage during hostilities,” the statement reads.

Many military personnel have been nominated for awards, which will be granted shortly.

As previously reported, last year M-80A infantry fighting vehicles from Slovenia and self-propelled artillery from Poland were put into service with this Brigade.
