Ukrainian troops managed to destroy two armored convoys of invaders near the village of Solodke.

The 72nd Mechanized Brigade said that Russians sent the first convoy for an assault on January 30, and the second recently.

Russian commanders sent assault groups to seize Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk region between the towns of Vodiane and Solodke.

The village of Vodiane is located near the town of Vuhledar, which invaders have been trying to capture for a long time.

To destroy the first convoy, a Drone Strike Company Bulava, the 48th Battalion, the 2nd Mechanized Battalion and a Shadow unit were engaged.

However, Russian invaders started having problems from the beginning of the movement. One of the tanks crashed into another and immobilized it for the rest of the battle.

A Russian tank with a tracked mine trawler was moving in front of, followed by other tanks, MT-LB armored personnel carriers with infantry and an infantry fighting vehicle.

Drones, anti-tank systems and artillery were used to destroy the convoy of Russian invaders.

“Together with other units, we destroyed a convoy of 11 enemy armored vehicles,” the military said.

A few days later, invaders sent a second convoy with armored vehicles for an assault. This time, however, Ukrainian forces hit Russian invaders near the village of Solodke.

“Another enemy convoy has been destroyed. We are used to burning enemy convoys, but still, every time it happens, we are more excited than ever,” the 72nd Brigade said.
