On Saturday afternoon, a series of explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Donetsk.

An oil depot used by Russian troops came under attack again.

Local Telegram channels reported about this on December 16, and videos from the scene were also released on social media.

After 11 a.m., Donetsk media reported explosions in the Budonivskyi District of the temporarily occupied city.

Locals report a possible hit on the location of Russian invasion forces, in particular, a fuel and lubricant depot.

Subsequently, videos and photos from eyewitnesses appeared, showing a massive fire at the oil depot. It appears that a reservoir with oil products is on fire.

The footage shows a tall thick column of black smoke and powerful flames rising into the sky.

The fire is visible from several kilometers away and can be seen in many areas of the occupied city.

As previously reported, on Friday evening, December 15, an oil depot with 4 reservoirs caught fire in the Budonivskyi District of temporarily occupied Donetsk. Locals say that the oil depot was hit during the shelling.

Osint analysts managed to identify the oil depot. It has been revealed that the oil depot was located at Budonnoho St, 79 and belonged to the ASI Oil gas station chain.

Donetsk, occupied by Russians since 2014, serves as an important logistics hub for the invaders.

The well-developed oil infrastructure in the form of gas stations and oil depots allows storing a huge amount of fuels and lubricants to supply the Russian invasion forces.
