Soldiers of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine defeated a group of Russian invaders who were advancing to storm Ukrainian positions near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia.

On social media, the brigades published a video of combat engagement.

The elimination of invaders took place recently in February.

The General Staff reported in the morning summary on Saturday about repelling Russians assault attempts near the village of Robotyne and west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the published video from the Ukrainian military, you can see how a group of Russian infantry was preparing to storm Ukrainian positions.

When trying to move out of their trenches, Russians were spotted by a reconnaissance drone of the 65th Brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine, which holds the defense on this section of the front.

To destroy invaders, first Ukrainian artillery or mortars opened fire on them. After that, Russians were forced to hide for cover.

Further, operators of Ukrainian drones with drop ammunition and FPV, which carried out the Russian infantry, some of which tried to hide among two previously destroyed tanks of the aggressor, took up work.

But judging the footage, this was not very successful for invaders. Constantly above these tanks was a Ukrainian drone, which watched the movement of Russian soldiers.

This allowed the Ukrainian military to successfully attack the enemy.

Also recently, in the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian gunners accurately hit a Russian Nona-S self-propelled mortar.
