An ammunition depot in Russia’s Volgograd region was attacked, triggering a series of explosions.
Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed that a fire broke out at a Russian Ministry of Defense facility near the settlement of Kotluban following the attack.
According to him, the fire was caused by “falling debris.”
Ukrainian Exilenova+ and Supernova+ monitoring channels report that a depot belonging to the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Ministry of Defense was attacked.
It is claimed that the detonation of ammunition is ongoing. According to eyewitnesses, explosions were heard in the settlement around 1:30 a.m., after which the ammunition began detonating.
Military Unit 57229/51 is located in Kotluban – a large, comprehensive ammunition storage arsenal.
Today, Russian facilities in the Bryansk region were also attacked by several dozen strike drones, which Russian forces attempted to shoot down.
