The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that almost 5,000 Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training in Great Britain.

The program launched by the British government is called Operation INTERFLEX.

Currently, instructors from Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom itself are involved in it.

So far, almost 5,000 Ukrainian military personnel have undergone training.

They have gained basic knowledge, skills, and abilities in tactical medicine, engineering, live-fire, psychological, and tactical training, including running offensive and defensive missions in an urban setting.

“Operation INTERFLEX is one of the vivid examples of international support for our country and convincing evidence proving that Ukraine is not alone in its fight against Russian aggression,” the General Staff said in a statement.

The INTERFLEX operation is planned to be expanded. A training course to train the junior commanders of military units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be added to the current program.

As previously reported, Ukrainian servicemen will also undergo training in Denmark. This was announced by the Danish Defense Minister during his visit to Kyiv.

This is additional assistance to Ukraine outside the joint program with Great Britain, as this fall, Denmark plans to send 130 of its instructors to Britain for joint training.
