A drone from the Aeronavty unit of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade guided artillery fire at a Russian 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled artillery system.
The unit shared a video of the operation on its social media.
Reports indicate that the external pilots’ crew conducted reconnaissance and targeting using the domestic Shark reconnaissance drone.
As a result of the strike, presumably with a high-precision artillery round, the enemy’s Giatsint-S was completely destroyed.

The destruction of the enemy self-propelled artillery system took place in the Donetsk region.
The 2S5 Giatsint-S is a 152mm self-propelled artillery system that is designed as a turretless SPG.
It is designed to suppress and destroy nuclear weapons, destroy enemy command and control posts, rear, manpower and military equipment in concentrations and strongholds, and destroy fortifications.
The hull of the vehicle is welded from steel armor plates and is divided into three compartments: engine, control, and combat.
The engine and transmission compartment are located on the right side of the front, and the driver’s seat with controls is on the left. Behind it is the commander’s workstation with a rotating turret.
In the middle and aft parts of the hull there is a combat compartment with mechanized ammunition stowage.
The crew seats are located along the sides: the operator is in front on the right, the gunner is behind, and another operator’s seat is on the left. Fuel tanks, a tray stopping mechanism and an ammunition hatch are installed in the aft section.
According to the ORYX OSINT project, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, Russia has lost at least 79 units, including 65 destroyed.
