The administration of US President Joseph Biden is expected to announce an additional package of military assistance for Ukraine worth $ 500 million.

Ukraine should receive additional HIMARS artillery rocket systems and artillery ammunition.

As previously reported, on June 23 the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov declared that the first HIMARS had already arrived in Ukraine.

As part of a previous $ 700 million aid package, the United States handed over four MLRS launchers to Ukraine. The Ukrainian servicemen in Germany have been trained for using them.

In addition to the United States, the United Kingdom (M270) and Germany (MARS II) also plan to provide 270-mm NATO-caliber multiple rocket launchers.
