FPV drone operators of the Achilles Battalion of the 92nd Assault Brigade destroyed enemy armored vehicles.

The video was posted on the battalion commander’s Telegram channel.

Judging by the published footage, enemy armored vehicles that were in hiding in the forest belt were destroyed, as well as vehicles that were abandoned on the battlefield.

In addition to the armored vehicles, enemy personnel and vehicles were also hit.

According to the published report, in October 2024, the Achilles Battalion destroyed and hit 1903 enemy targets.

In October 2024, the battalion performed combat missions in two areas of the Kharkiv region, near Kupiansk and Lyptsi.

Using unmanned systems, 479 enemy military targets were destroyed and 1424 were damaged, including:

• 127 units of equipment were destroyed
• 374 units of equipment were damaged
• 225 invaders were eliminated
• 328 invaders were wounded

In particular, in early October 2024, the crew of the FPV drones of the Achilles Battalion of the 92nd destroyed an enemy Tor air defense system.

“The price of one FPV drone is $500, which is 50,000 times less than the price of a Russian anti-aircraft missile system. The professionalism of the crew and the craftsmen who bring each drone to combat use gives maximum results with minimal investment,” the battalion commander reported.

The operator of the Achilles directed the FPV drone to the area near the radar targeting station.

Damage to this part of the Tor SAM results in the loss of combat capability of the combat vehicle and its subsequent costly repair.

“The Achilles team has once again confirmed that quality and determination are more important than quantity and cost. We are ready for new challenges and will continue to fight for our sky,” the battalion commander emphasized.
