A Russian military helicopter of the invaders was destroyed in occupied Crimea.
Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, reported on this.
He shared that the Ka-27 ship-borne multipurpose helicopter was destroyed.
“A Russian Ka-27 was destroyed in Crimea. It was looking for something. It found it,” he wrote.
The Ka-27 was designed as a ship-borne helicopter that solves a whole range of tasks: searching, detecting, and destroying submarines, conducting search and rescue operations, evacuating the wounded, and transporting cargo.
The destruction of the helicopter was also confirmed by Russian “military correspondents.”
They stated that the helicopter could have been accidentally shot down by Russian air defense.
“If the information about the friendly fire is confirmed, was anyone punished after all these cases? I see that war forgives a lot,” the Russian invaders said.
They then added that according to the official version, the Russian helicopter lost its bearings and crashed.
The published photo of the Russian invaders shows a Mi-24 helicopter.
The Ukrainian Air Force has not yet included Russian helicopters in its list of losses for April 10.
At the end of March, a Russian Su-27 fighter jet crashed into the sea near temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The exact cause of the crash is unknown; it could have been either a friendly fire from Russian air defense systems or an accident on board the fighter jet.
