The third Ukrainian-made model of a mine clearance vehicle based on the chassis of a civilian T-156 tractor was presented in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported on this.

The new model was presented on February 21, 2024, with the participation of Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, at one of the test sites.

A new model of Ukrainian-made mine clearance vehicle was created by Kyiv-based efarm pro together with Sumy-based agricultural machinery manufacturers.

The development of new models of vehicles is part of an acceleration program for Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have innovative solutions in the field of humanitarian demining.

According to Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, the Ukrainian vehicle is in no way inferior to its Western counterparts and capable of clearing 5,000 square meters of land in an hour.

He noted that the Croatian DOK-ING MV-10 can cover the same area. During the test, a high density of tillage was demonstrated, which is 2 centimeters between the cleaning strips.

The vehicle’s developers are now preparing for certification and mass production. Due to the cooperation with the manufacturer, there will be no need to look for spare parts.

Militarnyi previously reported that the first Ukrainian-made vehicle designed to prepare the soil for demining had been transferred to the disposal of rescuers of the State Emergency Service.

The special sapper equipment was purchased at the expense of the regional budget of the Kharkiv region.

On October 27, the vehicle was transferred to the specialists of the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service.

The prototype has been tested for 4 months. During this period, the vehicle exploded more than 300 anti-personnel mines. It has already received a certificate of conformity, which allows for the establishment of its production and use for demining territories. It was developed by local manufacturers on the chassis of a tracked tractor of Kharkiv production.
