The Polish company Lubawa S.A. has developed a mock-up of Poland’s most common military truck, Jelcz 442.32.

This was reported by the publication Defence24.

The mock-up was presented by the company at the IDET 2025 international defense industry exhibition in Brno (Czech Republic), where it attracted the attention of visitors.

It imitates a full-size Jelcz 442.32 truck in the visible, thermal, and radar ranges.

According to the developers, such mock-ups are designed to mislead the enemy, forcing them to waste ammunition on false targets and creating the illusion of a larger number of vehicles in the combat zone.

The truck model was not chosen by chance, as Jelcz is currently one of the most common vehicles in the Polish army. Some of its variants are used for logistics tasks — as fuel tankers, transport vehicles, and combat platforms.

First of all, the Jelcz truck was chosen as the base for installing the Korean K239 Chunmoo launcher, which made it possible to create the HOMAR-K rocket system. In addition, it is used as a tractor in the Patriot air defense system, for transporting individual radar systems, the Mała Narew air defense system, and others.

Such wide application makes the manufacture of the model easier and also allows it to be adapted to simulate both 6×6 and 8×8 wheeled trucks.

It should be noted that, as of today, Jelcz has delivered over 1,500 trucks for logistics tasks to the Polish army. In addition, about 1,000 trucks will be used as specialized platforms for various purposes.

One of the important contracts for the purchase of this type of truck was the agreement signed in 2018.

At that time, the Polish manufacturer Jelcz signed an agreement for the production of 66 two-axle trucks of models 442.32 S04, 442.32 S02, and 442.32 P06, which are intended for transporting elements of the Pilica missile and artillery complex.

At the same time, a contract was signed for the supply of 888 trucks between 2019 and 2022.

Jelcz 442.32 is a two-axle truck with a cab-over-engine layout.
